Children may benefit from a comprehensive evaluation for multiple reasons. Typically, a caregiver may find that the child is having difficulties with academics, social difficulties, and/or cognitive difficulties. Evaluations are conducted to assess for a variety of concerns that contribute to these difficulties, including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Learning Disorders, and Emotional/Behavioral Disorders. Through the evaluation process, caregivers are able to better understand the challenges that their child is having and receive support on how to help their child.

Dr. Duncan specializes in working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, 2nd Edition (ADOS-2) as well as other clinical measures including caregiver interviews and parent-completed rating scales, are administered in order to identify the child’s current strengths and weaknesses. A comprehensive report outlining the results of the assessments, clinical impressions, and recommendations is provided to the caregivers.
